SBA (7A) Senior Business Development Officer

ROLE SUMMARY

This SBA 7(a) business development role originates government-guaranteed small business loans across a defined Central California territory, working remotely with regular market travel. Responsibilities include sourcing SBA loan opportunities through referral partners, packaging deals for underwriting, and guiding borrowers through the SBA lending process.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

•  5+ years of SBA 7(a) loan origination experience

•  Strong understanding of SBA eligibility, use of proceeds, and program guidelines

•  Established referral network with business brokers, CDCs, CPAs, and attorneys

•  Proven production track record in a remote or territory-based origination role

•  Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a self-directed pipeline

•  Bachelor's degree preferred; SBA lending certification a plus
