Meet Chris Fulton
Executive Recruiter
Chris Fulton brings more than a decade of retail, business, and professional banking experience to L.D. Peck Executive Search Firm. He has spent his career on the bank side of the hiring table, leading teams, building client relationships, and helping banks grow their business banking presence. That background gives him a practical understanding of what makes a banker successful and what hiring managers truly need from a new hire.
Most recently, Chris spent nearly six years at WaFd Bank, first as VP, Community Banking Group Manager, and later as VP, Retail Business Acquisition Manager. In these roles, he led teams focused on acquiring and deepening business relationships throughout the WaFd footprint. It was at WaFd that Chris and Dan Peck first worked together, partnering closely to recruit and build out the bank's Business Banking Division. That collaboration showed both of them the impact the right hires can have on a bank's organic growth, and it laid the foundation for Chris joining L.D. Peck.
Before WaFd, Chris served as a Business Consultant with both Bank of America and Wells Fargo, working directly with business owners on their banking and credit needs. His earlier experience includes AVP, Professional Banking at Columbia Bank; Premier Banker II (Registered) at Wells Fargo; and Finance Manager at Denney Management.
At L.D. Peck, Chris partners with community and regional banks to identify and recruit analysts, business bankers, SBA lenders, and professionals across a wide range of other banking roles. Clients value his ability to evaluate talent through the eyes of a former banking leader, and candidates appreciate working with someone who understands their role, their goals, and the realities of the job.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Seattle University and also studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He swam for both Division I programs and was named to the Dean's List at Seattle University.
