About the Role
A Senior Relationship Manager, Commercial Real Estate Investment (CRI) is responsible for developing, managing, and growing a portfolio of commercial real estate clients, including investors, developers, and institutional partners. This role focuses on providing customized financial solutions, managing credit risk, and driving revenue growth through strategic relationship management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in commercial real estate lending, structured finance, and market analysis to support client success and bank profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial real estate investors, developers, and institutional clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service and customized financial solutions.
Identify client needs and provide strategic guidance on financing options, risk management, and investment strategies.
Cross-sell banking products and services, including treasury management, capital markets, and deposit solutions.
Business Development & Revenue Growth:
Drive new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and client referrals.
Structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial real estate financing transactions, including construction loans, term loans, and credit facilities.
Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, underwriting, and capital markets, to structure competitive financial solutions.
Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
Credit & Risk Management:
Lead the credit structuring process, ensuring sound underwriting practices and alignment with risk appetite.
Assess client financials, property performance, and market conditions to determine loan feasibility.
Work closely with credit analysts and risk teams to ensure proper due diligence and portfolio monitoring.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
Market & Industry Expertise:
Stay informed on commercial real estate trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscape.
Represent the bank at industry conferences, forums, and client events.
Provide insights on market opportunities and emerging risks to leadership
